B.C. Pavilion Corporation ("PavCo") of its intent to contract with Richmond Elevator Maintenance Limited for the provision of complete maintenance services for the elevators at BC Place Stadium ("BC Place"). Complete maintenance services include regular and systematic examination, cleaning, adjustment, and lubrication of all elevators in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications, including all components of the equipment as required and if necessary, repair and replace all components using original equipment manufacturers' parts. Maintenance services includes duties defined at the following frequency for elevators, unless noted otherwise below: 1. Monthly, 2. Quarterly, 3. Semi-Annual, 4. Annual, 5. Bi-Annual, 6. Every Five (5) Years. The service coverage type is premium over 24x7 and includes initial equipment inspection, scheduled service visits, scheduled service materials, on-site repair services which includes repair labour and repair material. The total value of this contract is for $112,065.00 from December 1, 2022, to November 30, 2027. PavCo has chosen not to call for proposals at this time for the following reason(s): 1. Richmond Elevator Maintenance Ltd. is the manufacturer of the mechanical and controls systems for the Richmond Elevators that are used by PavCo and therefore Richmond Elevator Maintenance Ltd. is the only supplier who can provide proper maintenance and repair services for this equipment. 2. Richmond Elevator Maintenance Ltd.'s warranty covers the costs of repair and replacement of the elevator's controller, hall door, motor, hoisting; as a result, there are no additional costs for PavCo. Vendors wishing to object to this decision must contact Michael Mudie, Purchasing Manger, BC Place Stadium by email to procurement@bcpavco.com before the closing time. Vendor(s) must outline specific reasons for their objections. The vendor's ability to provide the same service by personnel qualified to service Richmond Elevator equipment and to provide OEM parts at a lower cost within the required time frame will be the key criteria with regard to the consideration of vendor objections.
