The Falmouth Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites quotes from qualified licensed Electrical Contractors to perform General and Emergency Service calls to repair or replace wiring issues , downed power lines, damaged utility poles, transformers, underground conduit and electrical equipment at our various family and elderly housing developments in the Town of Falmouth. The Project consists of: On site Electrical Support in general and emergency situations to the Falmouth Housing Authorities family and elderly housing unit interior wiring, power lines, utility poles, transformers, underground conduit and related equipment. The contractor shall be required to be on site as scheduled by FHA and must be able to respond to emergencies 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, within 3 hours if needed. The contract shall be for (1) one year with (2) two additional (1) one-year options to renew. Quotes are subject to M.G.L. c.149 44A-J & to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L. c.149 26 to 27H inclusive and the Bacon/Davis wage rate which ever hourly rate pays more. The project is subject to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968. A typical unit layout and example of on call services solicited over the past year is available electronically. The Falmouth Housing Authority is an equal opportunity employer.
