WSA requires a consultant to provide engineering services for identification of concept alternatives and development of design for expansion of irrigation into the RM of Loreburn. The alternatives shall accommodate a phased development approach where applicable. The work will achieve several milestones: Conceptual Design and Phase Identification for approximately 10,000 acres being serviced from the M1 Canal. Preliminary design for Phase 1 of the distribution infrastructure. Functional design for Phase 1 of the pumping infrastructure. WSA is a Treasury Board Crown corporation within the meaning of The Crown Corporations Act, 1993 (Saskatchewan) that is governed by The Water Security Agency Act (Saskatchewan). WSA is responsible for water management in the Province of Saskatchewan, which includes managing the Province's water supply, protecting water quality, ensuring safe drinking water and the treatment of wastewater, reducing flood and drought damage, protecting aquatic habitat, and managing 72 dams and related supply channels. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
