Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Cohoes, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Project generally consists of the following work:Approximately 600 linear feet of streetscape improvements along White Street from the intersection of Main Street to Mohawk Street. The new streetscape will include new concrete sidewalks, new granite curbs, milling/paving, minor utility work/adjustments, signage & striping, street trees & plantings, as well as development of a pocket park and additional site amenities. Work shall be substantially completed and operational by June 23, 2023 and ready for final payment by July 7, 2023.Notice to Bidders:The Bidders must comply with the Federal (Davis-Bacon Act) and New York State Department of Labor Prevailing Wage Rate Schedules and conditions of employment. Minority and Women-owned Business Enterprises (MWBEs) and certified Section 3 companies in New York State are encouraged to apply.Under Article 15A, Executive Law, the State of New York is committed to providing Minority and Women Owned Business (MWBE) equal opportunity to participate in government contracts. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders.The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Bidders will also be required to furnish a Non-Collusive Affidavit. The City of Cohoes, as Owner, reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bid received, or to reject any or all Bids without explanation.
