Furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and performing all operations in connection with the transportation, placement and grading of beach-compatible sand along the ocean shoreline of northern Flagler County in accordance with the drawings, specifications and contract documents for Flagler County s FEMA funded project to restore the dune system including vegetation. The project area will begin south of Washington Oaks Gardens State Park near Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) reference monument R-15.9 and will extend approximately 8,350 ft south to the south of Flagler County Malacompra Park at R-24.3 with a fill requirement of 49,500 CY including vegetative plantings. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, bank draft, or satisfactory Bid Bond, drawn in the favor of Flagler County in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid as shown on the Bid Form. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid after the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids. All Bids must be firm for a period of ninety (90) days after the time set for opening Bids. No person or affiliate who has been placed on the convicted vendors list following a conviction for a public entity crime may submit a Bid for a period of 36 months from the date of being placed on the convicted vendor list. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Contract Bond (Performance and Payment) and appropriate Warranty Bond. Upon award of contract, a Certificate of Insurance must be provided indicating compliance with the criteria and for the coverage(s) in the Standard Terms and Conditions of the Agreement between the County and the selected Contractor. Flagler County reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to award all or segments of the project and to waive any informality in Bids received, all as may be in the best interest of the County.
