The City of Wilton Manors invites proposals from qualified firms, licensed in the State of Florida, to provide a proposal for Zone 1 Roadway Rehabilitation Project. Questions and comments must be received no later than, November 17, 2022 at 7:00 a.m. Proposers, their agents, and associates shall not contact or solicit any City Commissioner, City employee, or official regarding this RFP/ITB subsequent to the first meeting of the City s Selection Committee. Failure to comply with this provision may result in disqualification of the Proposer, at the option of the City. Only that individual listed above, as the contact person, shall be contacted. The work of this Contract comprises the construction of the Surtax Roadway Rehabilitation Program for the City of Wilton Manors in Zone 1 (see Bid Plans for Zone location). The work will include but not be limited to site preparation, sawcutting, milling, removal, and disposal of existing asphalt pavement, placement of asphalt pavement overlay, construction of new asphalt areas, installation of pavement markings, and site restoration. This project is funded by Broward County through the Penny for Transportation Surtax Program. Qualified firms are required to be registered with the Office of Economic and Small Business Development and meet the requirements of the County Business Enterprise Program (CBE) before awarding the ITB. The CBE goal is applied only on the Surtax funded portion of the project. Proposers are to submit their CBE Certificate and copy of their Letter of Intent submitted to the CBE with their proposal package. If for some reason the bidder is unable to meet the CBE goal, the Application for Evaluation of Good Faith Efforts Form can be submitted along with the supporting documentation
