2022 Signal Improvements. The Project includes the following Work: The work generally includes signal improvements for various intersections across Pine Township, Allegheny County including replacement of advance detection equipment, installation of school flashing zone sings, pedestrian curb ramps, signal conduit and junction box replacement. The work will consist of a base bid and three add alternates. Bids are requested for the following Contract: 2022 Signal Improvements Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. This Project falls under The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania enacted Act 127 of 2012, known as the Public Works Employment Verification Act ('the Act') which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Government's E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States. All Bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for the Contract Award. All bids shall be irrevocable for 60 days after the bid opening date as provided by the Act of November 26, 1978 (P.L. 1309, No. 317), as amended by the Act of December 12, 1994 (P.L. 1042, No. 142).
