Renovation of a transportation facility in Merritt Island, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
The scope of these projects consist of the removal and replacement of the Automated Weather Observation System (AWOS) at both the Arthur Dunn Airpark and Merritt Island Airport in Titusville, Florida and Merritt Island, Florida, respectively. These projects require new AWOS, trenching, conduit, conductor, concrete pads and vault work. These projects include a minor amount of directional boring, earthwork and sodding. The Merritt Island Airport project involves more site preparation. Notices to Proceed for these projects will be issued upon completion of all preconstruction activities and permitting. Contract time from NTP is 180 calendar days plus 30 Days for Punchlist and Closeout. Questions regarding the projects must be submitted in writing email to: Sue Finney at sfinney@avconinc.com. The last day for questions will be Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at the close of business.
