Award amount is $6,165,678.06** For IMPROVEMENTS TO WEST SIDE AVENUE NB-1413 The work to be performed under this contract includes the improvements to West Side Avenue including mill and resurface, reconstruct with full depth pavement where shown of the plans, replace all existing CMP with reinforced concrete pipes, upgrade all inlets and catch basins with bicycle safe grate, 16 In-Line Check Vales between 24"-72" Diameter, and NJDEP curb piece, and upgrade existing guide rails as shown on the plans. Principal items of work in the project include: 11,100 Ton Hot Mix Asphalt 12.5M64 Surface Course 4,600 Ton Hot Mix Asphalt 19M64 Intermediate Course 4,800 Ton Hot Mix Asphalt 25M64 Base Course 14,800 S.Y. Dense-Graded Aggregate Base Course, 6" Thick 1,700 S.Y. Concrete Sidewalk, 4" Thick 6,000 L.F. 9" x 18" Concrete Vertical Curb 2,500 L.F. Beam Guide Rail Bids for said contract must be based upon and in strict accordance with the aforesaid specifications. Bidders must present a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate prior to the award of the contract if it is not submitted with the bid. All bids must be stated in words and figures and proposals must be made on the standard proposal form in the manner designated therein and required by specifications. All Contracts will be on standard form contracts which are available for inspection in the Law Department. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27.
