Contractor will be responsible to furnish all labor, equipment and materials for site restoration post-reconstruction of the Playfair Park tennis courts. Work generally consists of an irrigation plan (to be submitted to the project manager for review) to retrofit the existing irrigation on the west side of the tennis courts (no irrigation as built on file). Clearing and grubbing, grading for positive drainage, adjusting existing heads as needed and sodding. Rock picking all rocks greater than 3/4" in diameter in any direction, establish a 4" minimum depth of topsoil, finish grading, sod installation and site clean-up to ensure public safety. Preference is to commence work as soon as weather allows in the spring of 2023. Contractor shall commence work within ten (10) calendar days after the date of the written Notice to Proceed. Successful bidder can expect coordination with other project contractors. Current contract schedule for Tennis Court Reconstruction: o Demolition, grading and paving - complete no later than November 25, 2022 (complete) o Install fencing and net post - complete no later than March 15, 2023 o Tennis court temporary stripping - No sooner than 30 days after paving but before March 15, 2023 o Tennis court color coat + stripping - Start no sooner than June 1, 2023 with completion on or before July 15, 2023.
