Bidders/Proposers that fail to meet these requirements, will be deemed non-responsive and no further consideration will be given to their bid/proposal.All certified and non-certified primes must self-perform a minimum of thirty percent (30%) of the contract value, regardless of the Small Business Participation goal percentage. This Scope of Service covers requirements for the Contractor to provide non-destructive testing of rails in METRORail's trackway. A one (1) year contract with two (2) one (1) year options will be awarded. The METRORail Light-Rail Transit (LRT) system currently operates three (3) Rail Corridors (Red, Green, and Purple) which consists of 23 miles of double track. Trackway to be inspected consists of embedded track in Houston city streets shared by vehicular traffic, embedded track in reserved street lanes, and conventional tie and ballasted track in reserved rights-of-way. A simple, straight-forward statement outlining subcontractor participation regardless of certification, inclusive of ]scope, responsibilities and percentage of work. The period of performance under this Contract shall be for one (1) year, with two (2) one (1) optionsperiod, unless otherwise extended by METRO.
