The Project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and materials (except as otherwise specified), and performing all work necessary for the construction of the lift station improvements to include the replacement of the two submersible pumps, replacement of valve vault, piping and valve improvements, odor control unit replacement, wet well recoating, wet well lid replacement, site paving, site piping modifications, site grading, fence replacement and electrical and instrumentation improvements. Engineers Estimate = $1,200,000.00 Time for Substantial Completion 270 Calendar Days Time for Final Completion 300 Calendar Days Not less than the federally determined prevailing wage rate, as issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, must be paid on this project or the prevailing wages for Denton County, as published by The Associated General Contractors of Texas, whichever rate is higher. Unless otherwise provided in the Supplementary Conditions, the Contractor shall obtain and pay for all construction permits and licenses The Bidder agrees that the Work will reach Final Completion within the above number of calendar days after Effective Start Date as shown in the Notice to Proceed and accepts the Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) per day liquidated damages provision of the Supplementary Conditions in the event of failure to reach Final Completion of the work within the specified time period as fair and just compensation to Town for the damages it suffers as a result of any such delays.
