The Project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment and materials (except as otherwise specified), and performing all work necessary for the construction of Hillside Lane which is approximately 3,700 SY of concrete pavement, 1,200 SY of concrete sidewalk, 4,000 SY of 8 flex base with subgrade geogrid, 1,200 LF of 8 sewer main by open cut, 9 sewer manholes, and a bid alternate for 4,000 SY of treated subgrade. Unless otherwise provided in the Supplementary Conditions, the Contractor shall obtain and pay for all construction permits and licenses.The Town shall assist the Contractor, when necessary, in obtaining such permits and licenses. Not less than the federally determined prevailing wage rate, as issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, must be paid on this project or the prevailing wages for Denton County, as published by The Associated General Contractors of Texas, whichever rate is higher The Town reserves the right to accept the bid which, in its judgment is the lowest responsible bid; to reject any or all bids; and to waive irregularities or informalities in any bid received, deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
