Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

This project includes replacement of existing traffic signals, Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) sidewalks, PCC curb and gutter and median, pavement removal, pavement markings, and other incidental items; all in accordance with the contract documents, including Plan File No. 648-270/315, located along Army Post Road, and other locations directed by the Engineer, in Des Moines, Iowa. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction. The City of Des Moines (Jurisdiction) reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Time for Commencement and Completion of Work. Work on each improvement shall be commenced upon approval of the contract by the Council, and completed as stated below This project shall be fully completed not later than September 30, 2024, and in accordance with the Completion Provisions.
