Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Washington, District of Columbia. Completed plans call for the addition of a one-story above grade municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for the renovation of a one-story above grade municipal facility.

19-G009 The Government Printing Office (GPO) is soliciting bids from qualified suppliers interested in providing supplies and material described in Section C of the attached Request for Bid. This procurement is conducted under a full and open competition, for which the procedures described in the Materials Management Acquisition Regulation (MMAR) Part 14 Lowest price technically acceptable will apply. GPO anticipates awarding one Firm Fixed Price contract in accordance with MMAR 16.203. Only one contract will be awarded to one Bidder. The contract period will be for one three base year period. The terms and conditions of the contract will be incorporated in any resulting order. The Statement of Work includes demolition and renovation of GPO Building D third floor as well as HVAC improvements on the second floor and basement. The third-floor scope of work includes buildout of a new large format press room ISO 7 clean room., mechanical spaces, rest rooms, locker rooms, break areas and office space as detailed in the plans and specifications attached to this contract. Please refer to section J, List of attachments. The attachments include plans, specifications, wage determinations, hazmat surveys, list of government furnished equipment any and all addenda. The period of performance will include one three-year base period for at least 1095 days. If an option or change order is exercised, the period of performance shall be extended through the end of that option period. The period of performance includes the construction and warranty period. Additional registration requirements will be provided in Amendment 0001. In accordance with FAR 36.204(h) the disclosure of magnitude is between $10 Million and $50 Million dollars. In accordance with FAR 52.228-15, Contractor is to provide Performance Bond and Payment bond equal to 100% of the contract amount. (a) Failure to furnish a bid guarantee in the proper form and amount, by the time set for opening of bids, may be cause for rejection of the bid. (b) The bidder shall furnish a bid guarantee in the form of a firm commitment, e.g., bid bond supported by good and sufficient surety or sureties acceptable to the Government, postal money order, certified check, cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit, or, under Treasury Department regulations, certain bonds or notes of the United States. The Contracting Officer will return bid guarantees, other than bid and performance bonds- Offerors must submit all questions concerning this solicitation in writing to Contracting Officer, Dyeshia Sampson @ dsampson@gpo.gov and Auday Aubaidi @ aaubaidi@gpo.gov . Questions should be received no later than by Thursday November 17th, 2022 at 10:00 AM ET. The Offeror must submit the bid bond in the amount of $3,000,000.00 on Standard Form(SF) 24. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
