The City of Gloucester seeks sealed bids for HVAC Rooftop Unit Replacement at Rose Baker Senior Center. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply. A bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the total bid price must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid price. DCAMM Certified Contractors are sought for the following category: "HVAC". The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to accept that which is deemed in the best interest of the City. The City shall not be responsible for bids arriving late for any reason The project generally consists of replacement of rooftop HVAC units and associated work at the Rose Senior Center. The estimated project construction cost is approximately $300,000. Project Location: 6 Manuel F. Lewis Street, Gloucester, MA 1. HVAC Replacement of Roof Top Units at Rose Baker Senior Center, Gloucester, MA. The roof is approximately +/-7,000sf space. The building was constructed approx. yr.1998. 2. The buildings will be occupied during construction. a. Work will be conducted in a Single Project implementation duration schedule of approximately 227 Calendar Days from Notice to Proceed to Substantial Completion. The project consists of the removal & replacement of the Roof Top Mechanical Units at the Rose Baker Senior Center.
