Saving Project...

Renovation of an educational facility in Prestonsburg, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The project scope includes re-roofing James D Adams Middle School with new standing seam metal roofing system and HVAC replacement. All questions during the bidding period shall be submitted via email to Abby Davis (integrity Architecture) at abby@integrityarch.com .All questions shall be submitted no later than eight (5) days prior to the established bid date. The Project is to be complete within 365 calendar days from the date of the official Notice to Proceed. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, payable to the owner in an amount of not less than 5% of the bid. The award of the contract shall be made on the basis of the lowest and best bid in the interest of The Floyd County Board of Education. No bidder may withdraw his / her bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and irregularities and shall have the right to reject any and all bids. Successful bidder is required to furnish a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount and a Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. These include Section 3, Segregated Facility, Section 109 and E.O. 11246. Further, Title VI Minority bidders are encouraged to bid.
