County of The Redevelopment Authority of Westmoreland (RACW) will receive Sealed Bids for Roof Replacement/Repairs and Building Stabilization. Replace approximately 9,050 square feet WORK TO BE INCLUDED: roof with a ballasted 45 mil loose laid EPDM system, including the removal of the old roofing materials and other foreign debris to the deck, replace all roof decking material and add permanent roof access method, adjustment of the existing roof drains, install scuppers, abatement of approximately 480 lineal feet of flashing material, corner reinforcement of the limestone facade, repair/resetting of select front facade window openings and minor repointing of brick, as necessary. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Westmoreland, negotiable U.S. Government bonds, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the estimated cost of Roof Replacement/Repairs and Building Stabilization shall be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance/payment/maintenance bonds. This project is funded in whole or in part with federal/state funds. Federal/State requirements apply and are included in the bid documents. and Bids may be held by the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Westmoreland for period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders, prior to awarding the Contract.
