Renovation of a municipal facility in New Bedford, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
This work will also require DCAMM Filed Sub-Bidders certified in Modernization of Traction Elevator, HVAC, and Electrical. The bid process and award of this Contract will be under the provisions of M.G.L. Chapter 149. The estimated budget for this project is $600,000.00 and the estimated substantial completion date is the end of December, 2023. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Bid deposits may be in the form of Certified Check, Certificate of Deposit, or Bid Bond made payable to the City of New Bedford, Massachusetts. The Awarded Bidder must furnish a 100 percent (100%) Performance Bond and a 100 percent (100%) Payment Bond with a surety company acceptable to the City. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents shall be received in writing by the City of New Bedford at purchasing@newbedford-ma.gov no later than Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. for filed sub bids.
