The Division of Facilities Development, hereinafter termed DFD, hereby announces that it is advertising for bids from certified 14 contractors for the above project. All potential bidders must become certified by DOA prior to submitting bids on state construction projects 17 with budgets over $50,000. All bids received from contractors who are not certified will be rejected. These 18 changes take effect January 1, 2014. Replace damage 40 and/or deteriorated insulation. Provide one layer of 1.5 polyisocyanurate insulation, 60-mil EPDM, stone ballast, 41 and related sheet metal flashings. Contract offer and construction phase records will be processed electronically on the DFD Information System. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsins prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. The conference and walkthrough are scheduled for the purpose of acquainting prospective bidders with the site conditions and special 5 requirements of the project. All bidders are encouraged to attend the Pre-Bid Conference and no separate tours will be conducted. This is a secure facility and unannounced access to the site will be considered trespassing. Representatives from the A/Es office will be available to take questions for answers in addendum.
