The City of Lubbock is requesting proposals for the North Water Treatment Plant Sludge Removal and Disposal Project. The Successful Offeror Will Be Required to Furnish a Performance Bond in Accordance With Chapter 2253, Government Code, in the Amount of 100% of the Total Contract Price in the Event That Said Contract Price Exceeds $100,000 and the Successful Offeror Will Be Required to Furnish a Payment Bond in Accordance With Chapter 2253, Government Code, in the Amount of 100% of the Total Contract Price in the Event That Said Contract Price Exceeds $50,000. Said Statutory Bonds Shall Be Issued by a Company Carrying a Current Best Rating of "a" or Better. The Bonds Must Be in a Form Acceptable to the City Attorney. No Work on the Contract Should Commence Before the Bonds Are Provided and Approved. Although offers may be submitted electronically, hard copy proposals will be accepted in person, by United States Mail, by United Parcel Service, or by private courier service.
