The City of Lubbock is requesting proposals for the Southeast Water Reclamation Plant 4 Clarifier No. 1 and No.2 Rehabilitation. Without force or effect on requirements of Contract Documents, a brief description of the Project: Wastewater treatment plant clarifier replacement includes, but not limited to, replacing each clarifiers underwater steel components, including the center pier, rake arms, upper and lower cage, feedwell, scum port baffle, corner braces, influent column, dispersion well, skimming mechanism, local control panel, and drive unit. The Successful Offeror Will Be Required to Furnish a Performance Bond in Accordance With Chapter 2253, Government Code, in the Amount of 100% of the Total Contract Price in the Event That Said Contract Price Exceeds $100,000 and the Successful Offeror Will Be Required to Furnish a Payment Bond in Accordance With Chapter 2253, Government Code, in the Amount of 100% of the Total Contract Price in the Event That Said Contract Price Exceeds $50,000. Said Statutory Bonds Shall Be Issued by a Company Carrying a Current Best Rating of "a" or Better. The Bonds Must Be in a Form Acceptable to the City Attorney.
