Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wilson, North Carolina. Working plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; and swimming pool.

As of May 30, 2024 Project was not bid. Project will be incorporated in with a larger scope to be bid at a future date yet to be determined. The scope of the project is to remove & replace the existing pool deck, stairs & landing and install trench drain & fencing. DEMOLITION: Work will require demolition of existing concrete deck, 3' from pool edge. This demolition includes the existing concrete walls, porch & stairs, portions of concrete walk and existing fencing as depicted on the Bid Plan Set. Contractor shall provide means, method, materials, and equipment to contain all dust and debris during construction. The contractor shall clean the work area when completed. CONSTRUCTION: Concrete deck replacement, trench drain, inlets & outlets, concrete stairs, landing & ADA Ramp & fencing, in accordance with the Bid Plan Set Titled "Reid Street Community Center Park Improvements, Phase 1 - Pool Deck Replacement", prepared by Bartlett Engineering & Surveying, dated March 27, 2024. The substantial completion date for this contract is May 24, 2024. The City of Wilson reserves the unqualified right to reject any or all offers if determined in its best interest. Liquidated damages for this contract are Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) per calendar day.
