Demolition, site work, paving, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Hurlburt Field, Florida. Completed plans call for the addition of a one-story above grade pre-engineered storage facility; for the demolition of a pre-engineered storage facility; for the renovation of a pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Work includes minor demolition and new construction for an addition to the 8 SOS Building 90145. The addition is a one story, slab on grade with scored, split faces low and end walls matching the existing building on a pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) system. The building will be connected to the existing building with a canopy system with utilities being supplied through a partially conditioned canopy enclosure. The interior finishes are that of a storage type facility with sealed concrete flooring, painted masonry low and end walls, painted metal building frame and exposed PEMB insulation systems. Interior walls are moisture resistant gypsum board over metal studs. Interior renovation inside the existing building is limited to removing and replacing ceiling grid and tile to route utilities required for the addition. Sitework includes demolition of an existing covered canopy system, remodeling of the stormwater lines on the east side of the existing building, remodeling the drive and surrounding parking area on the east side of the existing building and sidewalks. Work includes new mechanical system, fire protection system including fire alarm and electrical systems, all connected or fed from the existing adjacent building. Project Title: ADD/ALTER Space Deficiencies, Bldg. 90145, Project Number: CP1033732 - This acquisition is a Woman-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. - Period of Performance: 258 Calendar Days after Notice to Proceed. - Disclosure of Magnitude: The estimated amount for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. - A site visit WILL BE scheduled at a later date but no later than 30 June 2023. An Amendment to this solicitation will be posted with exact details of the site visit. Offerors should monitor sam.gov for updates.
