Site work and paving for a civil project in Spanish Fork, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The City anticipates using a CM/GC delivery procurement method for this Project and expects to select the CM/GC at 60% Design. Civil Science, Inc. has been retained as the project Engineer and has been tasked to assist the City in the selection of a CM/GC. It is anticipated that the CM/GC will provide multiple detailed construction estimates during the design phase and an itemized Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) at the 100% construction drawing level (refer to the Anticipated Schedule). For the purposes of preparing Proposal documents, the City expects/anticipates that coordination meetings could be held at 60%, 90%, and 100% during the Design Phase. Additionally, the CM/GC may be expected to participate in 3-4 additional coordination meetings with the Consulting Engineers, as required, for a complete project understanding. These meetings will be in addition to all construction meetings, phone calls and email coordination as needed.
