Cutoff for Questions: Date: November 14, 2022 Time: 12:00 pm EST West Virginia University on behalf of its Board of Governors ("BOG") located in Morgantown, West Virginia ("WVU" or "University") is initiating this Request for Bids ("RFB") from qualified, experienced, and licensed Contractors for Demolition and Abatement services regarding HSC Surgical Skills Lab located at 1 Medical Center Dr #1000, Morgantown, WV 26506 (the lab is on the south end adjacent to the Loading dock) The Contractor shall achieve Substantial and Final Completion of the entire Work as calculated or indicated above. The date of issuance of the West Virginia University's Notice to Proceed or Executed Agreement shall be used to calculate Substantial and Final Completion of contract time stated in number of consecutive calendar days or established date. Time is of the essence. Liquidated Damages shall be Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Substantial Completion and Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250) per Calendar Day of delay in achieving Final Completion The following Bonds will be required with award: Performance Bond Labor and Material Bond
