Item #2 65,000 tons or less graded stone or gravel. #53 #73 #2 #4 #5 #8 #9 #11 #12 Unif Rip Rap Reve Rip Rap #23/24 Sand Fill Sand B-Borrow Sand Fill Ice Sand Pea Gravel Screenings Items #1 and #2 - County may, at their discretion, accept all quotes and buy from any supplier that yields a net price (F.O.B. a given road or quadrant in County) that is most economical. County also may buy, as supplies are available at the time needed by the County. Item #3 7,500 tons or less Bituminous material for wedging (hot mix). HMA #5 Base HMA #9 Binder HMA #9 Surface HMA #11 Surface Cold Mix PG 64-22 Item #4 550,000 gallons or less AE-90, AE90S, AE-60, AEPL (Prime), RS2 Asphalt emulsion. This quote is for the application of stone and emulsion oil. Contractor shall furnish a ten (10) foot self propelled chipbox with operator and helper. They shall be capable of supplying emulsion oil with two (2) 2000 gallon distributors with operators, any place in the county as specified by the County Highway Department. Item #5 Pug Mill Application Oil, AE150, (in addition to the Base Price of Asphalt Emulsion). Apply asphalt emulsion to aggregate, furnished by County, and stockpiled by County trucks. The Environmental Superfund price shall be a part of the quoted price. It is the responsibility of the supplier to pay those funds to the agency collecting environmental Superfund. Bidders awarded contract must supply performance bond (100%) of total quote Bidders for the supply of petroleum-based products shall quote both a fixed unit price and, a unit price subject to increase or decrease ("floating unit price"). Bidders shall note that quoting a fixed and floating price is mandatory. A fixed unit price shall not be subject to change. All quotes containing a floating unit price for petroleum-based materials must include documentation from the bidder's source of supply to establish a base cost of supply. The successful bidder or bidders shall submit current cost of supply documentation monthly to the appropriate County Department. The unit price payable shall be adjusted for any increase or decrease in such cost. Clinton County reserves the right to cancel the contract of any bidder whose monthly cost of supply documentation is inadequate in the judgment of Clinton County to properly justify an increase in the unit price. Clinton County also reserves the right to cancel the contract of any bidder whose source of supply changes at any time after a contract is awarded. On all items for which a quantity is specified above, the quote shall additionally contain a unit price upon which additional quantities may be purchased if actual requirements exceed the estimated quantities shown. Quotes for road sealing projects shall be made on Form 96 (Revised). Responses to Items 1 and 2 of Section II (Plan and Equipment Questionnaire) may be omitted. All quotes are to be made and contained separately in plainly marked envelopes showing Item Number contained therein. All quotes shall be on forms as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts and are to be accompanied by Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or Surety Bond as required by law in the sum of not less than ten percent (10%)) of the total quote. Bid Security may be combined to cover all quotes submitted by one bidder, but must be contained with the lower numbered item. Bidders are requested to use Form 12, Contractor's Bond for Supplies, wherever applicable. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all quotes and to waive or enforce any formalities.
