Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in E Patchogue, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
Each proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked "Sealed Bid - Shorefront Park Shoreline Construction Project". All bidders must comply with all applicable Federal, State, and Local Laws, including New York State MWBE goals and EEO requirements. The Village Board of Trustees of the Village of Patchogue reserves the right to waive any informalities in any bids received, and/or to reject any or all bids. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 15% Contract term: One Year - or until project completion County(ies): Suffolk Location: Shorefront Park, Smith Street, Patchogue, New York 11772 Business entities awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years: None All Written Questions Due 11/16/2022 This section includes requirements for the construction of Phase 1, consisting of: demolition of existing timber bulkhead, existing concrete vaults and piping and two (2) timber bridges, and installation of the following: the Living Shoreline Rock Sill Structures and Marsh Plantings, Bioretention Basins, Outlet Control Structures, and Outfall Pipes, Little Creek Restoration and Plantings, Two Pedestrian Bridges and Abutments, Kayak Launch, and various upland site/park improvements. The Work includes: 1. Mobilize and demobilize all labor and equipment necessary to complete the Work. 2. Prepare and deliver all required submittals to the satisfaction of the PM and Owner. 3. Identify, protect and avoid all onsite utilities. 4. Establish and maintain temporary erosion and sediment controls. 5. Establish temporary traffic controls in accordance with local and state requirements. 6. Establish temporary barriers and demolish and remove noted materials as necessary. 7. Conduct earthwork and excavation activities 8. Install concrete foundations. 9. Install foundations, abutments, walls and/or piers, and construct new pedestrian bridges. 10. Install electrical conduit. 11. Install signage. 12. Install permanent seeding and landscaping. 13. Install Rock Sill Structures in-water in Patchogue Bay 14. Widen, re-align, and restore Little Creek 15. Adhere and proceed with construction in accordance with NYSDEC and USACE Permit Conditions.
