Site work and paving for a road / highway in Markham, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The site locations of the work are for various parks throughout the City. The list of locations shall be provided to the Contractor upon Contract award. The City does not currently have a complete list of the pathways that needs to be completed as the pathways are subject to condition assessment to be conducted in the spring. Scope of Work: Items 1 and 2 - Asphalt walkway installation by mechanical spreader Item 3 - Asphalt walkway installation by hand Item 4 - Excavation for installation of walkway Item 5 - Granular pathway installation Item 6 - Supply, delivery, and installation of recycled granular material Item 7- Removal and disposal existing asphalt pathway including geo ground grid mesh Items 8 and 9 - Asphalt walkway installation by mechanical spreader Items 10 - Mobilization / Demobilization Item 11 - Safety Fencing and Signage The term of the Contract is from January 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023, with an option to renew for an additional three (3), separate one (1) year periods based on the Contractor's performance and at the sole discretion of the City (Contract Time) unless otherwise specified in the Contract.
