The U.S. 36 & Bob F. Griffin Road Community Improvement District (the "District") located in the City of Cameron, Missouri, is requesting statements of qualifications for engineering services with an emphasis on traffic and roadway engineering. The proposed scope of services is included as Exhibit A. A copy of preliminary engineering drawings may also be obtained by contacting Mike O'Donnell at the addressed listed below or by calling Cameron City Hall. The District is located at the intersection of U.S. 36 Highway and Bob F. Griffin Road, which is the location of a number of high traffic businesses such as travel centers and fast-food establishments. The longterm goal of the District is to improve traffic flow and safety at the aforementioned intersection, specifically the ability of large trucks and passenger vehicles to safely and efficiently access the businesses located in the District. The District will be seeking funding assistance from the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission 50/50 Cost-Share Program to aid in funding the design costs and estimated $1,625,460 construction costs. The DBE goal for engineering services is 0%. DBE firms must be listed in the MRCC DBE Directory located on MoDOT's website at site, in order to be counted as participation towards an established DBE Goal. We encourage DBE firms to submit letters of interest as prime consultants for any project they feel can be managed by their firm.
