Science Hall Air Handling Unit (AHU)2 - Replacement. Substantial completion: 252 days (Approximately August 24, 2023) Design Professional: ISU - FDC, Donna Imhoff, 515-294-7713 The project consists of, but is not limited to, the replacement of AHU 2, in Room 061, minor demolition of existing plaster bulkheads, repair and replacement of existing acoustical tile ceilings, in corridors C0101, C0155, C0255, and C0355 and electrical work associated with AHU 2 and ceilings in corridors C0101, C0155, C0255, and C0355. Each bid shall be submitted using the electronic bidding documents provided at electronically and shall include bid security as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. Bid security shall be agreed upon as the measure of liquidated damages which the Owner will sustain by failure, neglect or refusal of bidder to deliver a signed contract stipulating performance of the Work in unqualified compliance with Contract Documents. Successful bidder will be required to furnish a Contract Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract sum within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice of Award. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) calendar days after the date of opening.
