RFP D/B - Design-Build I-77 Over Route 606. The Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) submits this Request for Proposals (RFP) to solicit design-build Proposals (Proposals) from those entities (Offerors) interested in contracting to serve as the Design-Builder for the Route I-77 NBL Bridge over Route 606 (Wilderness Road). The project is located at Exit 62 on Interstate 77 near Rocky Gap, Virginia. The total length of the project is approximately 0.303 miles including bridge length. B644, Contract ID Number: C00117110DB115 State Project No.: 0077-010-834, P101, C501, B644 The Project is located along I-77 northbound in Bland County, Virginia. The purpose of the project is to replace the structurally deficient bridge over Route 606 (Wilderness Road). All improvements are proposed to occur within existing right-of-way Question Deadline 11/21/2022 at 4:00 PM ET VDOT will review all questions and/ or requests for clarification received and, if it deems appropriate, in its sole discretion, may modify the RFP Documents through an Addendum. Offerors shall base their Proposals on the terms and conditions of the RFP Documents included in the latest issued Addendum. 2.6.3 Addenda to the RFP Documents, if any, will be posted on the VDOT Project website at http://www.virginiadot.org/business/request-for-proposals.asp and on Bid Express (bidexpress.com).
