The Project will include all exhibit fabrication, engineering, audio-visual software design and audio-visual media integration, installation, and related general construction services necessary to complete the Project as indicated on the exhibit fabrication documents Withdrawal of Proposals due to error shall be subject to and in accordance with Section 2.2-4330 of the Code of Virginia and the Contract Documents. The Owner reserves the right to waive minor non-substantive errors in the Proposal, to reject any/or all Bids, to award any Bid in whole or in part and award the Bid considered to be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner also reserves the right to negotiate with the selected Bidder should Proposal exceed available funds. The City of Portsmouth does not discriminate in the solicitation or awarding of contracts on the basis of race, religion, faith-based organizations, color, national origin, age, disability or any other basis prohibited by state or federal law Contractor registration in accordance with Title 2.2 Chapter 43, Code of Virginia is required. The Bidder shall include in its Proposal the following notation: "Licensed Virginia Contractor No. Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each Proposal. The Work under this Project consists of the fabrication and installation of exhibits for the Children's Museum of Virginia's (CMVA) Bodyworks exhibit. The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, labor, materials, equipment and facilities necessary to fabricate and install the exhibits for CMVA. The Contractor shall be responsible for coordinating with the exhibit design firm on the fabrication of the exhibits and with the renovation contractor on the installation of the exhibits at the museum
