The major items of work include: Removal of existing steel bridge and construction of a new prestressed concrete girder bridge supported on piling. This project is a Federal Aid project and has a fourteen percent (14%) Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) goal. The project consists of replacing an existing bridge on a county road with a new concrete bridge. Potential scopes of work available include clearing, demolition, pile driving, riprap and quarry spalls, excavation, sawing and grooving, guardrail, asphalt paving, reinforcing steel, structural earth wall, bridge railing, surveying, traffic control and erosion control/seeding. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to commence prior to mid-December 2022. *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
