Renovation of a municipal facility in Ames, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Question Cuttoff Date & Time 11/13/2022 11:00:00 PM (ET) Remove existing HM door slab and hinges and provide and install 3'-0" x 7'-0" HM factory finished, door slab, hinges, threshold, and weather stripping. Field verify dimensions prior to order; provide submittal with shop drawing and product data to be provided. Connect new operator to existing electrical and disconnect. Work to be done during regular days and hours Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM CST. Work to be coordinated with owner to avoid disruption to DOT operations. Estimated project start date: Coordinated upon notice to proceed Estimated Completion date: June 30, 2023 Contractor to be a licensed electrician in Iowa. Until the contract is awarded the sole point of contact for this project is Tiffany Stupp (see bid contact information) any and all questions related to this project are to be submitted to Tiffany Stupp through the IONwave Bid system. (See the cut off period for questions). Contract Award: It is the intent of the Iowa DOT to award the contract to the responsible bidder whose submitted quotation is the most advantageous to the Iowa DOT, cost and other factors considered. Other factors include, but are not limited to: meeting or exceeding mandatory requirements, proposed staffing, and meeting required time schedule. This is project is exempt from state sales tax.
