Provide a detailed bid, including material, permits, and labor description and charges for removal of old roof and installation of new roof on the Rail Road Flat Elementary School Multi-Purpose Room located at 298 Rail Road Flat Road, Rail Road Flat, CA 95248. Calaveras County builing permit information can be obtained by calling the Calaveras COunty Building Department at 209-754-6390. The job will be bid at prevailing wage. BASE BID: UPPER ROOF SECTION DEMOLITION/INSPECTION: a. Remove, offhaul and properly dispose of the (E) standing seam metal roofing system at the upper and lower roofs of the MAIN GYMNASIUM BUILDING (BUR roof at Meeh well to remain) including panels, underlayments down to substrate, all gutter and liters, gluelam caps, drip edge, fascia metals, and all flashings included but not limited to plumbing, vent, counterflashings, roof to wall etc., that are inclusive to the (E) metal roofing system. Flashings embedded into stucco to remain unless determined otherwise. Inspect the (E) substrate for dryrot damage or any deficiencies and report findings to owner. Provide repairs to the substrate if needed on a T & M basis as CO work. Provide hourly rate for T&M repairs in proposal. Installer accepts the substrate, and it is within the required plane and free from defects before commencing installation of (N) composition shingle roof UNDERLAYMENT: a. Supply & install (1) one layer of a GAF Stormguard and water protection at all eaves, valleys, rakes, hips, ridges, and perforations. Eaves to extend min. of 6' from eave edge, valley to extend min. 36" up each side, ridge, rake & hips to be 18" on each side (36" piece) b. Supply & install (1) one layer of mfg. approved 30# felt throughout entire roof per mfg. guidelines COMPOSITION SHINGLE: a. Supply & install (N) GAF Timberline HDZ composition shingle with lifetime limited warranty per mfg. guideline, color TBD ACCESSORIES: Supply & install (N) color coordinated "w" style valley metal at all valley locations Supply & install (N) mfg. system approved starter shingle at all eaves and rake conditions Supply & install (N) mfg. system approved matching ridge & eave shingles Supply & install all (N) waste vent jacks and flashings where applicable, clean and paint to match Supply & install (N) color coordinated/matching box gutter system with 4" rectangular liters.
