Granite County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. GRANITE COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of Montana, is now accepting sealed, written bids for a contractor(s) to crush gravel (3/4 minus road gravel) for Granite County, with the quantities being 10,000 yards plus a bid for crushing 15,000 yards. All gravel crushing shall occur onsite at Granite County's gravel pit located adjacent to the Middle Fork Road, Section 36, Township 2 North, Range 1 West. No hauling of gravel is needed. Each sealed bid shall state a separate itemized dollar amount for crushing both amounts of gravel. Bids should be made for both amounts and the County will determine which bid (gravel amount) to accept based upon pricing. All bids from same contractor shall be in one envelope. Lowest responsible bid will be accepted. Successful contractor shall maintain reasonable and customary commercial liability insurance for the duration of the project.
