Physical Requirements The material shall be free flowing grade, which should be able to take up to 0.7% moisture before caking. Any product delivered which does not meet the definition of free flowing in AWWA b603- 93 standard will be subject to rejection. Chemical Requirements The KMnO4 content shall not be less than 97 percent by weight for the free-flowing grade. Only 25kg or 50 to 55 pound pails of product will be accepted. Packaging and shipping of potassium permanganate shall conform to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Net weight error shall conform to the national bureau of standard - shipment shall contain no less than 98 percent of the stated weight. Size of Orders Will Be Based on Available Storage at the Plant. All Prices Shall Be for Bulk Quantities and Said Prices Shall Remain Constant for a Period of Three Calendar Months, January 1st, 2023 Thru March 31st, 2023, Following the Acceptance of the Bids. The District Shall Not Recognize Any Modifications to the Price of the Chemicals During Quarter, Including but Not Limited to Fuel Surcharges and Other Charges. Invoices Received After the Third Wednesday of the Month, Will Be Paid the Following Month. The District Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids.
