From qualified firms to provide Program and Construction Management Services. Under the direction of Faciilities Planning & Capital Projects (FPCP), the Program and Construction Management firm(s) will assist, on an as-needed basis, on all project tracks and phases in a program portfolio. Projects within the portfolios are at various stages of planning, design and construction. Each will require diverse levels of service throughout the duration of the projects. Any Respondent who is selected to serve as Service Provider will enter into a professional services agreement with the University to provide staff augmentation and the services described in this RFQ for the designated project(s) as selected by the University. The University will fill positions using the Service Provider when the work required of the position is temporary or finite, requires expert knowledge not currently present or available in the FPCP department, or a position needs rapid replacement to minimize disruptions to project or business operations. The maintain this collaborative and consistent strategy, it is critical that the individuals proposed be available at the time of selection and for the duration of the projects. We appreciate the firms attention to this important feature of this RFP. Cal Poly intends to hire individuals from consulting firms providing program and construction management services. The goal is to create a diverse team of professionals to not only assist with the development of projects, but to also work in a mentoring role of junior staff so as to raise the level of the departments skills and capabilities.
