Sealed bids will be received by the Saunders County Clerk for consideration for supplying materials required to construct corrugated metal pipes with steel headwalls and wingwalls and other related incidental work at four sites. The project sites are located: C-78(865) on County Road 31 between Ashland Road and County Road A, C-78(866) On County Road 27 between Co Road Y and County Road Z, C-78(867) on County Road S between County Road 13 and County Road 14, C-78(868) on County Road S between County Road 10 and County Road 11, all in Saunders County, Nebraska. The project is referred to as "STWD-CBMP(6): C-78(865), C-78(866), C-78(867), C-78(868)" and shall include all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment required to fabricate and deliver the materials to construct: C-78(865) triple 96" x 45' corrugated metal pipes on a 25 skew (LHB), C-78(866) triple 108"x46' corrugated metal pipes on a 15 skew (LHB), C-78(867) triple 84" x 41' corrugated metal pipes on a 10 skew (LHB), C-78(868) triple 96" x 44' corrugated metal pipes on a 20 skew (RHB), all with steel headwalls and wingwalls. Copies of the Bid Documents and Specifications are open to public inspection at the office of the Saunders County Highway Superintendent, Wahoo, Nebraska. Along with its Bid Proposal, each bidder shall submit an unconditional Bid Bond or Certified Check made payable to the County Treasurer of Saunders County, Nebraska, in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the Bid Proposal. Also, each bidder is to include an estimated time of delivery for the materials with their Bid Proposal. The desired delivery date of the materials is ten to twelve weeks after the award of the contract. All materials shall be delivered to the respective project site. Within ten (10) days following the award of the Contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a surety bond or bonds in an amount equal to or greater than the full amount of the contract. The surety and form of the bonds are subject to acceptance by the Saunders County Board of Supervisors. The Saunders County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any irregularities in bids received. Award of the Contract will be in accordance with the County Purchasing Act's competitive bidding considerations as set forth in Neb.Rev.Stat. 23-3110 to 23-3114.
