Site work for a water / sewer project in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of constructing one 10 million-gallon (MG) wastewater storage facility. Space for a second future wastewater storage facility of similar size. The wastewater storage facility will be located on City owned property located at 4079 N. Hawthorne St. Chattanooga, TN 37406. Additional items at the wastewater storage facility includes (but is not limited to) the following: Diversion structure 30 million gallon per day (MGD) pump station Site utilities including gravity sewer, force main, yard piping, and site water Electrical building, process controls and instrumentation Odor control system Site work including clearing, excavation, backfilling, and final grading Retaining wall Access road Temporary Greenway Erosion prevention and sediment control The Project allotted time for construction is: 720 days This project is being funded by a State Revolving Fund loan on or after 2014 EPA Fiscal Year. The loan recipient must be in compliance with all applicable Davis-Bacon Act and American Iron and Steel requirements. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) Requirements.
