Request for Proposals ("RFP") to solicit proposals from civil engineering firms ("PROPOSER") interested in providing construction management services and material testing services for the construction of Project No. 2582, Meadow Lane/Market Street Paving. Project No. 2582 will involve pavement rehabilitation on Market Street from Willow Pass Road to Meadow Lane, and on Meadow Lane from Market Street to Monument Boulevard. The work also includes installation/upgrades of curb ramps at intersections/crossings, minor concrete repairs to facilitate pavement rehabilitation, adjustment of utilities, adjustment of pedestrian push buttons to meet accessibility standards, restriping, installation of signage/striping features, and installation of video detection systems. The portion of Meadow Lane from Monument Boulevard to Sunshine Drive will include the installation of fiber optic conduits and boxes. No fiber optic cables will be installed as part of this project. The estimated construction cost, without contingency is $4,500,000. Proposers shall submit their qualifications and experience in their RFP response packages. The City's intent is to negotiate the contract December 2022 and award in February 2023. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
