The territory of the PUBLIC BODY covers the cities of Longueuil, Brossard, Saint-Lambert, and their respective boroughs. The Works required must be carried out in accordance with the Quotation, according to the prices indicated in the Price Schedule. As far as possible, these Works will take place during the day, therefore from Monday to Friday, during school hours. However, some Work must be performed outside of school hours. The PUBLIC BODY does not undertake to accept any of the tenders received. The Bidder must accompany its Bid with a bid guarantee, in the lump sum of TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($20,000.00) , issued in one of the following forms: a bond, a certified check, a money order or bank draft in favor of the PUBLIC BODY . If this Bid security is in the form of a bond, the Bidder must also attach to its Bid a letter of undertaking signed by a surety guaranteeing the issuance of a performance bond and a guarantee of the obligations of the CONTRACTOR for wages, materials and services, each for a lump sum of TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($20,000.00). If the Bid is transmitted electronically, the Bid security can only be given in the form of a bond. CONTRACT LENGTH : The Contract is for a period of one (1) year, calculated from the date of issuance of the notice of award.
