Renovation of a multi-residential development in Collingwood, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a three-story above grade multi-residential development.
This Request for Tender is being issued by the County of Simcoe on behalf of Simcoe County Housing Corporation (SCHC). The SCHC is requesting tenders for removal, disposal, and replacement of existing domestic hot water (DHW), domestic cold water (DCW) and domestic hot water recirculation (DHWR) system with Type K Copper, or U-PEX as per the tender documents. It is SCHC's preference to install Type K Copper. Should the Type K Copper submissions exceed budget, SCHC will then consider U-PEX pricing. The new piping system shall be fully functioning and be capable of distributing the domestic hot and cold water throughout the building.
