For the following projects: #7. Merriville Road From 76th Street to 32nd Street 7.5" Overiay #2. 2,000 Tons of 173A HMA For County Use HMA test results must be submitted prior to delivery and meet the 2020 MDOT Standard Specification for Construction. All HMMA quantities may increase or decrease pending bid price and 2023 budget. Therefore, projects maybe added or deleted as funding allows MDOT projects may be in addition pending available funding at that time. Bid includes annual renewal if both parties are in agreement. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope and clearly marked with the bid category and the name of the company submitting the bid. HMA Base Course and Leveling Course shail be placed at 165#/Syd per lift. The use of reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) shall be limited to Tier 2 (0% to 17%) R.A.P, binder by weight of the total binder in the mixture. The performance Grade Asphalt Binder Range for the mixture shall be graded 58-28. AWi shall be minimum of 220. No RAS allowed. (Recycled Asphait Shingles) Contractor Shall place tack prior to any overlay application at a rate of .0S - .15. Density shall be 92.0% - 96.0%. The contractor is responsible for establishing a rolling pattern that will achieve the required in piace density. The take County Road Commission will not provide traffic control for paving operations. No work on Saturdays, Sundays, or Holidays unless approved by the Manager.
