AEG Management HCC, LLC the private company hired by the Hawai'i Tourism Authority to manage and operate the Hawai'i Convention Center (HCC) is issuing RFP 2023-1 for Theatre 320 ADA Lift Replacement, RFP 2023-2 for Air Wall Repairs, RFB 2023-3 for Wallpaper Installation, RFP 2023-4 for Slate Tile Replacement and RFB 2023-5 for Slate Tile Material The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time The selected CONTRACTOR shall provide all labor and management to replace the wallpaper for
the Ballroom. HCC will provide the wall covering material for the installation. Fiberglass panels
and wall fixtures will be removed and then reinstalled by HCC personnel.
The CONTRACTOR shall complete a review and provide a complete solution for the Hawaii
Convention Center wallpaper replacement.
A. General Requirements
i. Contractor will provide an On-Site lead person who will be present during
the entire project to coordinate with work crews and report to Hawaii
Convention Center Operations Management.
ii. Contractor will provide all necessary equipment, ladders, tools, products
and materials to complete services.
iii. Contractor will cleanup work area and be responsible for removal of all
debris at end of each working day and completion of project
iv. Contractor to provide all personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety
equipment required to complete services.
v. Contractor will provide copies of certifications for staff that may be utilizing
equipment requiring specialized certifications per Federal Occupational
Safety and Health (OSHA) and Hawaii Occupational Safety and Health
(HIOSH) regulations.
vi. Contractor shall be responsible for any demolition work that might be
necessary to accomplish the work.
vii. Contractor shall properly recycle and or dispose of the construction
demolition materials and parts off site in accordance with approved
environmental practices. The quantity and weight of all recycled materials
shall be tracked and submitted to HCC.
