The Town of Morrisville is inviting qualified contractors to submit a sealed bid for the construction of a wooded dog park with a large dog play area, small dog play area, water fountains, fencing, sidewalk, a parking lot and associated site work at 329 Franklin Upchurch Senior Street. The work includes all labor, equipment, and materials to complete in every detail of the work indicated on the plans and specifications. Specifically, all work incidental thereto Franklin Upchurch Senior Street Dog Park as part of the Franklin Upchurch Senior Street Dog Park Project including, but not limited to, demolition, earthwork, drainage, construction, paving, and stabilization. General project questions may be directed in writing to Kyle Cooper at bids@morrisvillenc.gov. MBE 10% and WBE 6% To whom the contract is awarded, a Performance and Payment Bond will be required for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. North Carolina law, of an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal, or in lieu thereof, a bidder may offer a certified check from a financial institution insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) as a deposit. The Town Council of the Town of Morrisville reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. The Town has received an estimate of $1,060,000 from a third party estimator for construction of the project.
