Renovation of an educational facility in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Design plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of December 14, 2022, an architect has been selected and this project is in the design phase. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is expected to start November 2023. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: This project will establish a contract with architectural/engineering/planning (AEP) consultant to complete pre-design for the future renovation project of Esker Dining Hall. The consultant will complete predesign for the remodel and renovation of 44,628 ASF/74,076 GSF of Esker Dining Hall which is the main dining hall for campus. The project would replace all building systems that are at the end of their useful life. These systems include mechanical, electrical, plumbing; elevators; and food service equipment. Depending on the results of the pre-design study, some smaller AllAgency projects may be undertaken while the campus waits for a larger enumerated project in the 25/27 biennium. If it is determined enabling projects are needed, abatement of hazardous building materials in the existing building may be part of this scope.
