Site work, asbestos abatement and renovation of a civil project in East Hartford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; for asbestos abatement for a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Scope of work is including but is not limited to: 1. Process Modification Items: Replacement of existing process piping and valves, replacement of existing pumps with three new identical centrifugal pumps equipped with variable frequency drives (VFDs), and the installation of a flow meter. Provide new pressure instrumentation; provide new domestic water piping and appurtenances. 2. Electrical Improvement Items: Installation of new electrical service, replacement of all major electrical equipment (pump VFDs and associated equipment), re-use of existing pumping station control panel, installation of a new exterior natural gas standby generator with conduit and wiring to building. 3. Facility and Infrastructure Renovation Items: Demolish existing and provide new aluminum walkover platform; encapsulate or provide barrier for existing concrete masonry unit walls and concrete floors inside building if full abatement is not achieved. 4. HVAC Improvements: Demolish existing boiler and associated equipment. replace with new natural gas HVAC system. 5. Site Improvement Items: Installation of an enclosed standby generator, natural gas piping from gas meter to standby generator, water main, hydrants, and electrical improvements. 6. Abatement of PCBs is included in this Contract. 7. All materials shall conform to the Owner's Approved Materials List dated 6-17-2021. The following work will be performed by others concurrently with the Work of this contract: 1. Installation of new natural gas service and meter. 2. Installation of new electrical wiring connection between utility pole and new electrical meter. CONTRACTOR is responsible for underground conduit, and pull cord per this Contract. This project is subject to Prevailing Wage Requirements This project is subject to Liquidated damages after 365 Calendar days from the NTP. The materials on this project are exempt form Sales and Use tax. Clarification Deadline: 12/1/2022 4:00 PM.
