Demolition and site work for a residential development in Galesburg, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The City of Galesburg, Illinois, hereby invites sealed bids for demolitions at six locations in the City of Galesburg for the Community Development Department. All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond, and Performance Bonds will be required for this project. The right is reserved to accept any bid or any part or parts thereof or to reject any and all bids. Vendors will be required to comply with all applicable EEO laws and regulations. The submission of the bid by the offeror in response to this Advertisement for Bids constitutes an acknowledgement of and an agreement by the Offeror that it understands and will comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act and the Illinois Preference Act (30 ILCS 570). Resolution No. 90-74 requires compliance with the Human Relations Act and all pertinent federal and state rules and regulations. The contract award shall be made to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid properly addresses and complies with the invitation and is most advantageous to the City of Galesburg; price and other factors considered. 1. Work shall consist of furnishing all the labor, equipment, tools, apparatus and any other incidentals necessary to demolish the structures situated on the real estate described below: a.Commonly known as: 643 Day- Residence P.I.N.: 99-14-327-006 Legal Description: Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot Eight (8) in Block E, running thence East 8 rods, thence North 4 rods, thence West 8 rods, thence South 4 rods to the place of beginning, in the City of Galesburg, Knox County, Illinois. b. Commonly known as: 481 E Third- Residence P.I.N.: 99-14-307-016 Legal Description: Lot 15 in Block 76 in the Second Southeastern Addition to the City of Galesburg, Knox County, Illinois c.Commonly known as: 830 Liberty- Residence P.I.N.: 99-15-331-010 Legal Description: Lot 12 in Block 99 of the Second Southern Addition to the City of Galesburg, Knox County, Illinois d. Commonly known as: 359 S Henderson- Residence and Garage P.I.N.: 99-15-151-012 Legal Description: Lot 40 in Block 117 in the Second Southern Addition to the City of Galesburg, Knox County, Illinois. As per Plat thereof recorded in Volume 2 of Plats, page 93, excepting the East 2 feet thereof. e. Commonly known as: 1965 E Main - Residence and Garage P.I.N.: 99-12-355-018 & 99-12-355-037 Legal Description: The East 51 feet of Lots 1 and 2 in Block 4 in Olof Hawkinson's Addition to the City of Galesburg, Knox County, Illinois
